New pledge level available outside the US

Hi there,

Thanks to the many folks who have exercised the Power of Requesting....a new pledge level is available to folks outside the US who want The Ripple Deck! 

Our first production run of The Ripple Deck is available in the US. Many folks have reached out to ask us to ship internationally (THANK YOU!), and we really want to get a deck in your hands.  

If you're outside the US,  this new $3 pledge level (appropriately named The Power of Requesting) will get you first dibs on the deck as soon as it's available in your country. 

Pledging helps us know how big our print run needs to be, so if you want a deck...this is the best way to tell us!

Thank you for continuing to support and share this project. We are two giddy souls over here, jumping up and down with awe and glee.

😱 WOW! The Ripple Deck is now funded

We did it!

Good morning and happy Friday from Oakland, California! 

Thanks to the amazing generosity and support of you early backers, we are officially FUNDED...this project is happening! We are absolutely floored by the interest in The Ripple Deck, and are excited to get it into your hands and hearts in the coming months. 

Seriously, a successful crowdfunding campaign screams COLLECTIVE POWER, and we couldn't do it without you.   

What now?

One of the fun things about Kickstarter is that it's not immediately over after the first funding goal! The fun has just begun. 

The campaign runs for another 19 days until October 5th. We designed and tested the deck with many types of people: facilitators, coaches, therapists, healers, personal development junkies, and folks looking for tools for their creative practices. If you know someone who fits that profile, please share the campaign so they can join us on the journey!

Stretch goals (aka more funding)

We've spent a lot of hours researching manufacturing, printing, and fulfillment partners to find one that feels values-aligned. 

The general consensus in the oracle / tarot world is that you have to print in China. Production in the US is almost entirely cost-prohibitive, especially at quantities below 500 units with rigid boxes. This is especially true for The Ripple Deck because we have a LOT more cards than the average oracle (84 + 2 reference cards).

That said, our deep hope is to work with a local printer here in the States, not only because we want to support local businesses, but because we want to establish actual relationships with the people making our deck! That feels much more aligned with the mutual and collective power we aim to promote and build through this project. Also, did you know that shipping 500 units from China is ~$2,500? Wild.

So here's our stretch goal: extra funding from here out won't be fueled towards fancy foil cards edges or producing more physical items, but instead towards:

• Working with a local printer here in the US
• Working with a local artist to design the full packaging experience for The Ripple Deck

This is a real stretch... but here's a reminder to us all about the Power of Imagination.
